Golf Club & Social Member Discount Policy

This policy outlines the terms & conditions for the discounts and benefits provided under golf club & social membership at The View Restaurant & Bar. Social membership has no association to Seaford Head Golf Course and provides no privileges in respect of Golf Club membership.

Discounts

These discounts apply to food and drink purchases made at The View:

• 20% DISCOUNT ON FOOD MENU ITEMS

Terms and Conditions

• Discounts cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions.
• Drink discounts apply to: hot drinks, soft drinks, beers, spirits, wines.
• Food discounts apply to: all regular menu items EXCLUDING ice lollies, ice creams, milk shakes, confectionary, counter items (eg cakes & pastries), packet snacks, daily specials, set menus or during special events; unless otherwise stated.
• Event & Special Evening discounts are assigned on a per event basis.
• Some events are run by 3rd party operators therefore not all events and special evenings qualify for discounted ticket rates. Please see event details for more information.
• Discount rates are on a per item basis and may not be applied to items of £2.00 or less in value.
• Discounted prices may be rounded up to the nearest £.
• The discounts are exclusively for active golf club and social members of The View Seaford.
• Discounts are not transferable and are only valid for the member's personal use or in the case of family membership for up to 4 members of immediate family residing at the same address.
• In the case of business membership:- the benefits are available for up to the number of employees the business has purchased membership for. See your email confirmation for full details.
• Business Memberships are only available to local companies (Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven).
• To receive discounted prices you must show valid, in date proof of membership. If this is not shown staff may attempt a search in our database however the discount may be refused if not found.
• Our till systems are pre-programmed to charge the discounted prices. You must ensure that the discount has been applied correctly prior to payment as it cannot be applied retrospectively.
• Discounts apply to items for consumption in the restaurant, on the terraces or as take-away.
• Discounts are available only at The View and not at any of our other group venues.
• Social Membership is provided by The View Seaford Ltd and is not associated in any way with Seaford Head Golf Course Membership.
• We reserve the right to withdraw social membership at any time. This may be due to a breach of any of the above terms, for operational reasons or for any other reason at our discretion.
• The View Seaford Ltd reserves the right to change or update this discount policy at any time.

Privacy & Data Handling

• We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. When you apply to become a member we collect only the details necessary to manage your membership and preferences. This data is used solely for communication, planning, internal marketing and ensuring your membership runs smoothly.
• We never sell or share your information with third parties, and we store it securely in accordance with UK data protection laws. Please note that we do not handle or retain any payment details—these are processed securely by our trusted merchant service provider.
• You may unsubscribe from our internal marketing at any time by replying to any email or text message you receive from us with the word "STOP". If you would like to access, update, or delete your information, just let us know.
• By proceeding with your application, you agree to this use of your data.
